Innisfree Capsule Recipe Pack – Volcanic Cluster || Review

Hello, gorgeous!

Do you like Clay Masks? If yes, then this post is for you, read till the end😉 I am fond of clay face packs as not only they clarify the skin but are too good for treating various skin issues. I still remember, my first ever store-bought (not exactly, it was from Oriflame dealer) face mask was a tomato infused Clay Mask, loved it to bits (Mind you, that time I had a normal, flawless skin with no acne or pigmented scars)! Since then, I have been using different versions of clay face packs to detoxify my skin😊

My Experience with Innisfree Volcanic Cluster Capsule Recipe Pack:

I bought this face pack in January this year and this small tub lasted me up to three usages. Innisfree has a variety of capsule recipe packs to choose from according to your skin type and choice. We all know Clay masks are excellent in absorbing excess sebum thus help minimize the pores and prevent acne. I don’t’ have major pore issues although do suffer from occasional breakouts. I chose Volcanic Cluster pack for an experimental purpose but to my utter surprise, it stunned me😍

I have a mixed feeling towards its ingredients as it boasts of natural as well as a few chemicals though low hazardous ones! Having said that, I must admit, it has neither irritated my combination cum sensitive skin nor resulted in any breakouts. The star component is definitely Volcanic Ash combined with a plenty of natural ingredients that are highly beneficial for our skin. This face pack can be used anytime, either pre-makeup or post, depending on your mood. I personally prefer post makeup cleansing to get extra benefits😊

Wearing the face pack :)

After removing the makeup and cleansing the skin, on a slightly damp face and neck, I used to apply a generous amount of this clay pack and then would wait for 10 minutes. The creamy smooth consistency of this pack allows for effortless application and it gets spread evenly. However, the trickiest part is to clean it off the face as the pack residues tend to stick to the skin😥 Nevertheless, a soft wet wipe is all you need to remove it completely.

Post every usage, I noticed that it provided me with a squeaky clean, glowy and softer skin. It helps to minimize the pores, tightens up the skin and eradicates the dullness instantly but couldn't fade out my post acne scars. Initially, I was apprehensive about its dryness factor as Clay masks tend to stretch out the dry parts of my skin but didn’t experience the same with this one. That being said kindly you do not skip the moisturizer.

 Plus Points:

  • True to its claims
  • Best for oily skin types
  • Good for combination, normal and dry skin types
  • Smooth texture
  • Doesn’t dry out the skin
  • No irritation
  • No breakouts
  • Controls excess sebum production
  • Detoxifies & refreshes the skin
  • Gives a clean softer skin
  • Adds visible glow that lasts up to 2 days
  • Light-weight packaging
  • Herbal fragrance
  • Travel-friendly

Minus Points:

  • Would not last long
  • Tad bit expensive compared to its quantity
  • Not ideal for super dry skin
  • Couldn't help much in fading the acne scars (Long-term usage is necessary)
  • Not fully natural
  • It feels difficult to slather on full dry skin so make sure the skin is slightly moist during application

Rating: 4.8/5

Conclusion:

Simply put, Innisfree Volcanic Cluster Capsule pack is an invigorating clay face pack that absorbs excess sebum, helps to deep clean the skin and gives a refreshing youthful skin after each use. It acts as a detoxifying mask that exfoliates the skin while maintaining the skin’s softness! I would highly recommend it to oily skin types having large pores, dull skin and acne issues.
