I am back with another sheet mask review! Today, I am going to talk about RUE KWAVE I LOVE RUE Rejuvenating Care mask which I bought long back but completely forgot to review, as always! So if you are interested to know more about this Korean sheet mask, then keep reading!

How to use:
- After cleansing, even out skin using a toner. Take the mask out of its package, unfold, and place the sheet on the face
- Rest comfortably for 10-20 minutes and remove the mask
- Remove the mask, and let the skin absorb the remaining essence by gently patting the skin
My Experience with RUE KWAVE I LOVE Rejuvenating Care Mask:
One day I was at SASA Superstore browsing through some skincare items when the sales assistant showed me this mask set and said it’s on a huge discount! I wasn’t sure whether to buy this or not as I had never heard of this brand before but Mr husband told me to grab the chance and try it. Well, I did the right thing that day!

Packaging:
The set contains 10 sheet masks and each sheet mask comes folded with a plastic sheet inside a pouch. You need to tear one end of the pouch to take out the mask. The product-related details are all mentioned on the packaging in both Korean and English.

Texture and Fit!
Oh God, is there any sheet mask which will fit my face, ever? Perhaps, NO! RUE sheet masks are an excellent choice for people with a wide face because it’s designed like that! The round-shaped mask fabric is soft, made of 100% Lyocell sheet and good in quality and it has no noticeable fragrance.

Performance:
Usually, after cleansing the skin and applying the toner & serum, you need to wear this mask. It takes a tad bit time to fit in properly because of its giant size as compared to my small face! However, it adheres nicely to the skin. It has designated holes or cut-outs for eyes and nose area. The mask is fully soaked in hydrating essence and certainly not a non-dripping one! The leftover essence inside the pouch can be used for neck and arms.

After leaving it for at least 20 minutes, I remove the mask off my face. Upon gently patting, the essence gets absorbed into the skin nicely and thereby, leaves my face moist, soft and plumper. I do feel this mask is great for dry & dehydrated skin types. The essence is so moisturizing and refreshing but at the same time, it feels super sticky! So if you don’t like sticky masks, skip it. Whilst wearing, the mask imparts a cooling sensation to the skin and post removal, it provides you with a highly nourished, glowing skin. The effect lasts up to 24hours though!
However, it neither causes breakouts nor does reduce the same! It acts simply as a deep nourishing sheet mask apt for pampering your skin on a tired day. I usually follow it with a lightweight moisturizer.

DeleteI like that this mask is good for dry skin because my skin has been so dry this winter. I don’t know if the stickiness would bother me asking as it’s moisturizing my skin.

DeleteSeems like a good mask! I didn't know we have to put a toner before putting a mask, is it like this with other brands too? I'm using a Korean brand called Innesfree but I just wash my face first then put the mask on then wash my face again.

Mercy, I use Innisfree sheet masks too and I always apply toner before wearing a sheet mask:) You don't have to wash your face afterwards! Wear a mask on a cleansed, toned skin, leave it for 20minutes and then post removal, massage your skin lightly so that all the essence gets absorbed nicely into the skin. If the mask essence is feels light then you can follow it with a lightweight moisturizer, but if you feel the essence is thick and heavy, then you can skip the moisturizer in summers. Hope it helps :)
