While reshuffling the clothes in the giant wardrobe, today I found my old office bag (last office bag, to be precise) lying in a corner. To my surprise, it still looks the same like before, no color fading, no wear & tear. Besides, it brought a big smile on my face, reminded me of the sweet moments of my office life! So, I thought, I should write today something about office stuff but mostly related to beauty and other essentials. Check out what are the office bag must-haves for every career girl 😊.

My previous offices didn't have any formal dress code and everyone was allowed to wear casual outfit maintaining the office decorum. I feel, this is absolutely a personal choice, so I won’t discuss here what kind of dress or the type of bag you should carry in your office. I would rather like to talk about the items which you should carry in your office bag, to make your life much easier!
Most of you career girls might already have these necessities in your bag, but I do think girls who are going to join office soon, will find this post helpful.
Skincare:
Sunscreen- An absolute essential for me and I would advise all of you the same. Please carry a small sized sunscreen in your office bag, for the field workers; it’s a must-have.

Body Lotion/Moisturizer- While AC is on, remember that it will zap every bit of moisture from your skin. Don’t let this happen, always carry a body lotion and apply it whenever you get time.

Lip Balm- A must-have for me and I do think carrying this beauty in your office bag will save your lips from cracking and drying.

Hand lotion- If not body lotion, then at least you should carry this skincare essential and don’t forget to apply the same in between your work.

Hair- Care:
Hair brush- How can we forget this hair care tool huh? You never know when you need this thing at your office and who wants to give a corporate presentation with a messy look? It also comes to your rescue when you decide to go for a party post office hour!

Hair ties- Do I need to explain why you should carry few hair ties? I don’t think so! Anytime you can make a hair bun or ponytail depending on the circumstances.

Makeup: Normally, most of the offices don’t have any mirror. So, I would advise you to carry a small handheld mirror for touch-ups and all. Kajal, lipstick, mascara are best things to keep in hand, if you are planning to go to a party after work.

Scarves: A big scarf is all you need to prevent your skin and hair from harsh pollution while traveling to the office. A scarf can easily add oomph to your office wear as well as protect you from the cold that you can catch because of the AC.

Wet Tissue: I tell you, summer time just sucks! These come really handy when you are sweating like a pig or you need to wipe off your makeup to get freshen up. Wet tissue gives you a refreshing look in a jiffy!

Perfume: We always love to smell good, don’t we? Only one thing you should keep in mind, choose fragrances wisely for office purpose. Mild, pleasant perfumes are apt for office time and will boost your confidence too.

Feminine Stuff: It is better to keep this personal hygiene thing in your bag rather asking any co-worker for help! Moreover, you can help others too when they need it.

Sunglasses: A must-have for everyone. Even if you are not heading to the office wearing them, keep these in your bag. You never know when you need them actually!

Instant Hand Sanitizer: An essential stuff that we should never forget to carry in our bag. A small bottle would suffice the purpose. This will protect us from germs and will keep us healthy and fresh.

Water bottles: You must not forget to stay hydrated all the time and for this, always try to carry a water bottle. While buying water bottles do not forget to check their SPI code (plastic classification number) for maximum health benefit.

Snacks: It’s not a good idea to skip lunch or Tiffin, but sometimes due to work pressure we tend to skip them. So, it is advisable to keep few snacks item in your bag to provide some energy while working. This list includes energy bars, chocolates, granola bars, nuts and oats biscuits (My fave Parle-G).

Phone-Charger: We must admit, nothing turns the mood off than seeing that low battery mark on our phone! I feel so helpless at that moment, can’t explain. Better, to avoid this situation always carry a spare phone charger along with you or you can buy a portable power bank.

Keys: It happened with me so many times that I forgot to take my keys while staying at hostels with roommates. As a result, I had to wait for them to come and unlock my room! Ugh. Please, make sure you keep the important keys in your office bag to avoid such mess.

Umbrella: Be it on rainy days or summer, an umbrella is a must-have for me. Girls I would highly recommend everyone to carry this stuff as it will protect your hair and skin from direct heat and rain.

Other essentials: Apart from the above-mentioned items, I would also suggest you carry these stuff viz. Pen and a notebook (to write down something important that suddenly pops in your mind), Mints (for refreshing breathe), Business cards (in case you need to give someone your contact info for official purpose), Accessories (minimal jewellery for post office parties), Dry tissue, Pain relieving tablets, Eye drops, Headphones and the most important thing Wallet!
It is not necessary to carry each item in your bag daily to the office. You can certainly keep the less important things around your desk (or in your cabinet) at the office. In this way, all of these will stay close by you all the time and you can use them whenever you feel like.
