My Experience With Aroma essentials Saffron Mask For Dry Skin:

(My Skin type: Combination, Acne-prone, Sensitive & Dehydrated Skin)

You love a brand and its products when you get the desired, visible results within a short span of time, right? I loved each product from Aroma Essentials which Madhurima (the owner & maker) curated specially for my skin/hair type. I was super excited to try this Saffron Face Mask as we all know that Saffron when used as a beauty ingredient, does wonders for our skin! Anyway, let’s move on to the review-

Product packaging:

Aroma Essentials Saffron Mask comes in a small, white coloured opaque tub with a screw open lid. There is a golden sticker band attached along the edges of the lid which makes the packaging look elegant. The product-related details are all labelled on the packaging. There is no separate inner lid for extra protection but I travelled with it and faced no problem. Overall, the packaging is practical and nice, nothing fancy.

Product Texture:

Aroma Essentials Saffron Mask has a rich, smooth creamy texture. The mask has a lovely fragrance to it and also contains a few saffron strands.

How I used:

As suggested, I used to apply a thin layer of this mask on my freshly cleansed face and neck. I would keep it for around 10 minutes and then wash it off with tepid water followed by skin toner, serum and moisturizer.

If you’re allergic to any ingredient, please do a patch test before using this face pack. Although my skin is acne-prone, I didn’t face any issues with this Saffron mask.

Product Performance:

Okay, so let me begin with sharing an interesting fact about this mask. Usually, when we apply a face mask, a layer (depending on how thick/thin layer you applied) of the mask forms all over the skin (if that makes a sense):D. However, since this saffron mask is creamy, it melts into the skin quickly after application just like any other moisturizer. During the mask drying process, it seems like there is nothing on your skin, only the saffron strands (if there is any) are visible!

The texture!

Make sure, you wash your face after 10 minutes because you will never feel that you have applied a mask, it feels so light on the skin! Initially, when applied it stings for a few seconds but the irritation subsides after a while. You require using only a little amount of this mask every time for your face and neck, so the product lasts long. The mask application is smooth and effortless. But I would really appreciate if the brand can provide a spatula with their face packs for those who don’t own one (like me).

Post the mask removal, it gives a lovely glow to the skin but the effect doesn’t last long. Nonetheless, I noticed my skin was soft, plumped and luminous after each use. Also as I was using all natural/organic products from Aroma Essentials during that 6months phase, the final result was pretty impressive! It helped in removing the tanning as well as improved the dull texture of my skin. I have used this saffron mask on my hands and feet as well. This face mask never broke out my sensitive, acne-prone skin & that’s a huge plus!

What I Liked About Aroma Essentials Saffron Face Mask:

💗 All natural & Hand-blended
💗 Chemical-free, hence safe for skin
💗 Hydrating in nature
💗 Never dries out or stretches the skin
💗 Post usage, skin looks bright and clean
💗 Cleanses the skin and also makes skin soft and supple
💗 Removes tan & pigmentation
💗 Great for dry, dull, dehydrated skin types

What I Didn’t Like About Aroma Essentials Saffron Face Mask:

👉 Expensive for the quantity it comes but for each use, less quantity is needed so the product lasts long. I couldn’t finish it within 6 months (its shelf-life period) thus had to discard it!!

👉 Please note it has almond oil so some of you might be allergic to this. A patch test is recommended!

NBAM Rating: 4.9/5

Aroma Essentials Saffron Mask is an amazing hydrating mask infused with all the natural goodness of Saffron, Almond Oil and Natural Clays. It’s perfect for dry skin types. Highly Recommended!

  13. This sounds like something I need to put on my face. My skin used to be oily but then it turned dry a few years ago. I normally use organic Argan oil, but this mask sounds like a good addition to my skin care products.
