I hope all of you are doing great! Today, I’ll be reviewing Nykaa GLAMOReyes 03 Enchanting Forest liquid eyeliner on my blog NBAM. You probably have seen this green liquid eyeliner from Nykaa in one of my previous beauty haul posts as well as on my IG stories. So to know about my experience with this eyeliner, keep reading!!

My Experience With Nykaa Glamor eyes 03 Enchanting Forest Liquid Eyeliner:
Nykaa Glamor eyes liquid eyeliner comes in 7 stunning shades – 01 Stormy Sky (grey), 02 Chaotic Calypso (blue), 03 Enchanting Forest (bottle/olive green), 04 Mystic Woods (deep brown), 05 Dragon’s Heart (light brown), 06 Whimsical Potion (sky blue), and 07 Poisonous Plum (purple).

I picked 03 Enchanting Forest green liquid eyeliner as I already have brown, blue and black liners. Talk about Plum shade, I am yet to convince my mind for trying out that colour on my eyes!
So far as I remember, I did try a green and a pink pencil eyeliner long back from the affordable brand VOV but somehow they didn’t impress me. Obviously, the quality is to blame for! So when I saw this popular Indian brand Nykaa also launched such vibrant shades in their liquid eyeliner line and that too at an affordable price, I couldn’t stop myself!

Product Packaging:
Nykaa GLAMOReyes 03 Enchanting Forest liquid eyeliner comes housed in a small outer cardboard packaging wherein all product-related information is printed. The eyeliner further comes in a 5ml, dark green colour coded matte finish plastic bottle with an elongated black wand applicator. The shade name with number is written at the bottom of the outer carton whereas the eyeliner bottle bears only the shade number! Overall, the product has a beautiful packaging!

Product Texture:
03 Enchanting Forest liquid eyeliner is deep bottle green in colour and has a runny consistency. It has a glossy shine to it with no artificial fragrance.
Product Performance:
Nykaa Glamor eyes 03 Enchanting Forest eyeliner comes with an adorable long black wand applicator which is easy to hold and makes the application a breeze! The fine-tip end helps with the precise application of the eyeliner. You can create a super thin line to a thick, bold sassy eye look with this eyeliner in a jiffy, all thanks to the fine eyeliner brush. The makeup beginners may encounter a little mess while doing the cat-eye look! I always prefer to use felt-tip pen liners for winged look over liquid eyeliners.

The eyeliner glides on smooth but doesn’t set instantly so you get enough time to draw perfectly with the liner without smudging it. But beware; as it doesn’t dry out quickly a simple accidental touch can ruin your perfect liner look!! Post application, the eyeliner won’t smear or smudge, it will stay put throughout the day. There is no need for re-application, YAY!
Coverage & Pigmentation:
Nykaa 03 Enchanting Forest green liquid eyeliner has a good colour payoff. The shade looks undoubtedly stunning on my eyes but to get that intense pigmentation & full coverage, I need to layer it up twice. Moreover, when it completely dries down, provides a bit glossy to semi-matte finish to the skin which after a while looks absolutely black!! WHYYY hun 😣??? I bought this green eyeliner so that it shows up green on my eyes, matches with my deep green outfits but to my dismay, it appears black on my medium, tanned skin tone especially if you see it from a distance or under dim light. I believe this green shade will flatter fair skin tones than the medium to dusky skin toned beauties.

Do you remember, a few months back, I did post an image on my IG and Facebook page wearing this eyeliner? When Mr husband came home from the office in the evening, I happily asked him about my new green eye look. He replied quickly, is it green or black eyeliner? 😞
The Claims:
Nykaa claims, Glamoreyes eyeliners last up to 10 hours and are water-resistant, smudge-proof. I never wore it for such long hours but yes, it stays easily on my eyes for about 7-8 hours.

Coming to its smudge-proof claim, yes, as I mentioned earlier it doesn’t budge unless you rub it vigorously! The other day, while travelling around the city we got completely drenched by the rain. I didn’t dare to touch my eyes as I had no eyeliner with me that day but noticed that the splash of water didn’t ruin my liner. Therefore, Nykaa 03 Enchanting Forest eyeliner is water-resistant too!

To sum up,
Nykaa GLAMOReyes 03 Enchanting Forest Green Liquid Eyeliner with smudge-proof, water-resistant, long-lasting formula looks stunning on the eyes. Although I expected it to be intensely pigmented with the matte finish look, it requires several swipes to achieve the high coverage which ultimately looks BLACK on my medium skin tone!

I will not repurchase it but as I love playing around with colours and liked its formula too so will look for other coloured eyeliners at Nykaa. If you are looking out for pocket-friendly, non-matte, deep green coloured liquid eyeliner with water-resistant, smudge-proof, long-lasting benefits, then give it a shot!

Deletethe shade looks pretty...sometime deep colored liners are safe too... they give the illusion of both shades and hence are safe for any kinda look... i am definitely picking it since i love colored liners.
