Let’s start with the packaging of this shower gel. Pink Grapefruit shower gel comes in a light pink coloured, plastic cylindrical, see-through bottle fitted with a black sturdy flip cap. The cap has a hole in the middle to dispense the product easily right on the palm of our hands or on the loofah. All the necessary product details are printed on the back of the bottle. The packaging looks so pretty.
The texture of The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Shower Gel is gel type. It has a semi-thick consistency and appears light pink coloured to almost transparent (Err, I’m so bad at guessing the colour). It has a refreshing fruity fragrance, not natural though!
Although you get a squeaky clean skin after using this soap-free shower gel, it does strip away the skin’s moisture. Hence dry skin beauties (like me) need to run for either body oil or a moisturizer immediately post-shower. The invigorating citrusy fragrance of this pink grapefruit shower gel will surely refresh your mind and body. Sadly, the fragrance doesn’t linger long!

My Experience With The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Shower Gel:

The Body Shop has a wide variety in their shower gel category. Pink grapefruit was my first ever body wash product from this brand. Also recently, I have purchased two other variants – Mango & strawberry shower gels from The Body Shop store. Yay! By the way, since Mr husband and I, we both have totally different skin types so this review will be based on our experiences with this body wash.

The texture of The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Shower Gel is gel type. It has a semi-thick consistency and appears light pink coloured to almost transparent (Err, I’m so bad at guessing the colour). It has a refreshing fruity fragrance, not natural though!
We had been using this Pink Fruit Shower Gel since winter season and finished it just last month. Thus definitely we can say that this product lasts long. For the cleansing purpose, one requires using only a tiny amount of this body wash. The pink grapefruit shower gel does not produce a rich lather yet it is effective at removing the dirt and impurities from the skin giving a fresh, wake-me-up feel afterwards.

Even though hubby and I both loved its powerful fragrance and performance, we absolutely hated the fact that the scent goes away right after the shower. I want my shower gels to smell good all day long or at least 4-5 hours on my body!!

If you have dry skin, make sure to apply body oil or lotion after a shower. I always use body oil, no matter what, so I had no serious issues with this shower gel. This wonderful body wash is-
