My Experience With Huygens Infusion Blanche Organic Purifying Face Wash:
(Skin type: Combination, acne-prone, dehydrated and sensitive)
I discovered this face wash via Birchbox, the beauty subscription box. I got it as a sample in one of my previous beauty boxes. I’ve also tried the other sample variant - Regenerating Bois Rose Face Wash (review coming up soon). But today’s post is all about this purifying face cleanser.
Packaging:
Huygens organic purifying face wash comes in a small white coloured tube with a flip-top cap. The ingredient details, shelf life, everything is mentioned on the back of the packaging. The full-size version comes with pump packaging. However, the sample size comes in tube format.

Texture:
Huygens organic purifying face wash has a gel texture and runny consistency. It has a sweet, herbal aroma.

Performance:
Huygens Infusion Blanche organic purifying face wash is truly a gentle face wash. To cleanse the skin, you require using a copious amount of this gel face wash. Since it is sulfate-free, you won’t get the foamy effect from this face wash, which is a good sign! Also, while cleansing the skin, it releases a soothing herbal aroma.
Now, the Huygens' purifying face wash is made of 99% of natural origin ingredients, and 10.8% of organic agriculture ingredients. Hence, if you are someone who is devoted to natural beauty products, you may enjoy this skincare product. The cocktail of powerful ingredients such as aloe vera, witch hazel, tea tree, and grapefruit oil helps the skin feel good and keeps the impurities & acne issues at bay!
(Note: always read the ingredients before you buy skincare products. Natural products cause acne sometimes 😐 *personal experience*).
Be absolutely cautious when you dispense the product. Before you'd realise the amount, the face wash will run off your hands 😛. All thanks to its super runny consistency!

So, does this Huygens Infusion Blanche organic purifying face wash dry out your skin?
Yep, it does, at least in my case! I am sure, by now, many of you know that my combination skin turns real dry during winter. I got this product in one of my summer beauty boxes. Post cleansing, my skin felt visibly fresh and clean. However, soon after cleansing, I had to run for my nourishing toner and moisturiser because of its drying effect. Hence, I decided to avoid the dry, cold season and use it only during the summer.
I am glad this organic face cleanser thoroughly cleanses my skin by removing every trace of dirt. I can't comment on how efficiently it removes the makeup, as I always use my makeup remover to clean makeup off my face! Tea tree oil always helps with acne issues. Hence, my acne-prone skin totally approves this face wash. All purifying skin or hair care products with tea tree oil dry out my skin/hair 😞.

Huygens Infusion Blanche organic purifying face wash is perfect for normal to oily skin. If you have acne-prone, sensitive skin, then this cleanser is ideal for you. For dry skin people, it's better to use this face wash in the summer. Follow it with a hydrating toner, serum, and moisturizer, and you’re ready!

Will I purchase this face wash ever?
No doubt this is a lovely cleanser! But, somehow, it couldn't win my heart 😞. I'm sure I'll get more effective organic face cleansers suitable for my skin type at this price. Therefore, it's a NO from me!
