Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Skin EX Toner

How to use Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Skin EX Toner:

I take a little amount of this green tea toner on a soft cotton pad and apply it all over my face & neck. At times, for more hydration, I skip cotton and use my fingers for the application. I gently pat my skin for better absorption followed by a moisturizer.

My Experience With Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Skin EX Toner:

(My skin type: Combination, Dehydrated, Sensitive & Acne-prone)

Innisfree has a wide variety of products in their green tea skincare range. Moreover, they have three different versions of this toner like- Fresh (for oily skin), Balancing (for normal & combination skin) and Moisture (for dry skin). As I have combination skin, I picked the balancing green tea toner along with their green tea sheet masks to treat my skin.

Packaging

Product Packaging:

Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Skin EX is available in different sizes; I bought the big 400ml bottle. The product comes in a green see-through plastic bottle with a flip-top cap and the bottle further comes housed in a nice green coloured carton. The sturdy cap makes it a travel-friendly product. The packaging bears all information like product description, usage direction, price, and brand details except the ingredients list!

Texture of Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Skin EX toner for combination skin
Texture

Product Texture:

Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Skin EX Toner has a watery-gel type texture and lotion consistency! The colour of this toner is somewhat milky. It has a nice, pleasant fa fragrance that doesn’t last long.

Product Performance:

I love drinking green tea and using green tea skincare products for my combination to dry skin. However, not always they work wonders! This green tea balancing toner unlike its claim does take a little time to sink in the skin upon application. I use a cotton pad to apply this toner; you could also use your fingers for the same. Post each usage, I noticed it leaves the skin feel super hydrated, firm and radiant.

After Gulsha rosewater, this is the second toner I found to be highly moisturizing! A little amount goes a long way and it also does a great job at wiping off any extra residues left by the cleanser. This balancing toner is packed with powerful anti-oxidant green tea and is free of bad alcohol as well!! It has Behenyl Alcohol which is a fatty alcohol and is good for the skin, so no worries. The toner feels light on the skin, helps minimize the appearance of pores and keeps skin soft and plumped for a long time.

In summers, I use aloe vera gel as a moisturizer and this balancing toner works great in tandem with the aloe gel to keep my skin supple without any greasiness. This works even better with nourishing serums & moisturizers especially if you have dry skin!

Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Skin EX has never irritated my skin or caused breakouts. It didn’t help with banishing the acne either which I expected from it! However, I love how it perfectly balances my dehydrated, sensitive skin by delivering the proper hydration and care. Since I got the big 400ml bottle, during travelling I always had to transfer it to a small travel-sized container!
