I have never tried pomegranate skincare products, so I was quite excited about it. I also did my research on the benefits of using pomegranate fruit extract or oil in skincare! The articles helped clarify my doubts and I happily started using this face cream for my dry, dehydrated skin.

I apply a small amount of this cream on my freshly cleansed face & neck after using a toner. They say it’s better to apply over your moist skin and then confidently apply your make up over this layer of protection.

Product Performance:

I have been using this cream for over a month and frankly, I am quite impressed with this cream. It has a thick texture yet spreads nicely on the skin without leaving any oily residues behind. With a little massage, the cream gets absorbed into the skin fast giving a matte finish to the skin. However, it does feel a bit slippery post application which kind of irritates me at times!! The cream has a pleasant fragrance so ideal for people with a sensitive nose.

Vanya Herbal Pomegranate Face Cream

I have used it with/without hydrating toner directly after cleansing my skin. I felt it works great over moist hydrated skin compared to dry skin! As you might know that my combination skin gets super dry and rough during winters, I have to use hydrating toners, serums and face creams to keep it supple. Vanya Herbal pomegranate face cream does make my skin soft and smooth after each use. But at the same time, I feel this cream is not meant for super dry skin beauties! It is ideal for people with normal to dry and combination skin. Oily skin beauties may find it a bit heavy for their skin.

These days, I have to use it a couple of times a day to keep my ultra-dry skin moisturized, thanks to the dry weather & room heater!! The best part is it always makes my skin one shade brighter instantly! The presence of good nourishing ingredients with anti-inflammatory, soothing & softening properties, make this pomegranate face cream an amazing moisturizer. Post usage, my skin looks luminous, smooth and nourished which I love about this face cream. It neither caused me any breakouts nor has helped with reducing acne scars.
