My Experience With Burt’s Bees Vanilla Bean Moisturizing Lip Balm (Review):

If you ask me about one beauty product I can’t live without, it’d definitely be lip balm. I need to apply it daily, sometimes multiple times to keep my chapped lips moisturised, especially during the winter season. At home, I prefer using transparent lip balms, while I opt for tinted ones for outdoor activities.

The Vanilla Bean Lip Balm comes in a 4.25g yellow chapstick format with a blue cap. Aside from the ingredient list, you’ll find all the necessary details on the packaging. Like most lip balms, you twist the bottom of the tube to dispense the product. It’s compact and absolutely travel-friendly.

How does it work?

Burt’s Bees Vanilla lip balm is easy to apply and glides smoothly on the lips, providing a matte finish. I love the chapstick/tube packaging, especially when I’m on the go! It fits conveniently into my pocket or handbag, making it easy to use anytime, anywhere 😍.

The formula is composed of 100% natural vanilla, beeswax, shea butter, antioxidant-rich vitamin E, and nourishing oils. It keeps my lips moisturised for a decent amount of time. However, during the winter, my super dry lips need extra nourishment, so I have to reapply it a few times a day to maintain softness and hydration.

I use this transparent, vanilla-flavored lip moisturiser underneath all my lipsticks and liners. Even with my driest liquid lipstick, this balm kept my lips hydrated until removal ❤️.

The scent is mild and sweet, not overpowering, making it a great option if you’re sensitive to strong fragrances in skincare products. Plus, I didn’t experience any irritation with this balm.

Unfortunately, I recently made a silly mistake: I forgot to take it out of my jacket pocket before tossing the jacket in the washing machine! The product’s texture got ruined, so now it’s unusable 😕. I’ll be repurchasing it ASAP!
