My Experience With Himalaya Lip Balm With Wheatgerm Oil & Carrot Seed Oil:
(skin type: Dry, chapped lips)
If you are following my blog since its inception, then you know that I am a lip balm hoarder! My lips are super dry and rough, hence I am constantly on the lookout for nourishing lip balms. There are many commercial as well as natural lip balms that have impressed me to date, this Himalaya lip balm is one of them!

Himalaya Lip Balm Packaging |
Product Packaging:
Himalaya lip balm with wheat germ oil & carrot seed oil comes in a tiny 10g tube with a sturdy green coloured screwable cap. The ingredient list and other details are printed on the back of the packaging. I had to use a magnifying glass to read the ingredients! I have healthy, powerful eyes, mind you! The product is travel-friendly.
Product Texture:
Himalaya lip balm with wheatgerm oil and carrot seed oil has a transparent, gel texture. It has a herbal fragrance which is not overpowering.

Product Performance:
To moisturise my dry lips, I need to squeeze the tube and apply a tiny amount of Himalaya lip balm on my lips clockwise. It’s easy to apply and easy to carry around, so comes handy while travelling. Moreover, the tube packaging makes it hygienic as you don’t have to use your fingers during the application. Okay, it’s fine if you use your fingers as long as your hands are not dirty!
Himalaya lip balm is composed of skin-safe ingredients such as Castor oil (great for dry lips), Carrot Seed Oil (has antimicrobial, antioxidant properties that prevent ageing, sunburn), Wheatgerm Oil (treats dryness, psoriasis, nourishes the skin), Hyamaraka (has strong antioxidant properties) and organic coconut oil.

On my lips- Himalaya Lip balm |
This nourishing lip balm from Himalaya keeps my dry lips moisturised for a long period. You won’t believe me, last winter my lips were bleeding and flaking. I was so worried! I used my favourite NARS lip treatment to soothe it, but that wasn’t working too. Finally, I started using this Himalaya lip balm religiously every night and voila! Every morning I woke up with soft and supple lips. A little amount goes a long way and the product lasted me more than two months. I purchased two Himalaya lip balms that time and I am on my 2nd tube now!

SAVE IT FOR LATER! |
Overall,
Himalaya lip balm with wheatgerm oil and carrot seed oil is an amazing nourishing lip balm for dry, chapped lips. Availability at the stores outside India is an issue with this lip care product so whenever I am in India, I buy at least 2 of these (just to be on the safe side)! If you are looking for a deeply nourishing, cruelty-free lip balm for your dry lips, then give this Himalaya lip balm a shot.

I have been using this since so long. Previously it was clear in colour but the one I got recently is in yellowish in colour. Why is that?
