My Experience With Pure Elements YAMAN Radiance Advance Night Cream (Review):

I picked this night cream from Pure Elements’ small pop-up store at Phoenix Mall, Pune, during my last trip to India. I was on the hunt for a rich night cream for my combination-dry skin. The sales assistant recommended this organic product because she thought it had all the nutrients my skin needed at that moment! Anyway, I started using this moisturiser in August after returning from my Cambridge trip with a sunburnt face. Let’s see if its skin-lightening claim holds true!

The first thing that caught my attention was its packaging. The bright yellow box was literally calling my name! Plus, the brand has named their product ranges after Indian classical music ragas. I learned both classical and Rabindra Sangeet (and dance!) as a kid and even earned a Visharada degree from Bhatkhande Hindustani Music Institute. Although I don’t sing or dance these days, the name Yaman instantly transported me back to those glowing childhood days.

The night cream comes in a dark amber, translucent glass jar with a secure, brass-coloured metallic reflective lid. Dark glass jars are often used to protect light-sensitive ingredients, such as Vitamin C, from degradation. The product is further encased in bright yellow (or mustard) cardboard packaging. A label, matching the yellow tone of the outer box, is affixed to the jar and carries all the essential details like product benefits, key ingredients, and more.
In short, this bright packaging radiates a warm, earthy, and somewhat luxurious aesthetic vibes!

How to Use:
Apply a generous amount of cream to your face and neck at bedtime. Gently massage your skin until fully absorbed.
Product Performance:
My night skincare routine depends entirely on the weather, my mood, and the texture of the night cream. If it’s cold, I’ll use a hydrating face mist and serum, followed by a heavy-duty moisturiser. But if it’s a warm, sticky night, I’ll switch to lighter versions or just use the night cream, skipping the other steps. That’s why I always look for moisturisers that are powerful enough to work on their own, a bit of a one-man army!
Since the weather has been cool and pleasant in the UK lately, I’ve been using this night cream on top of my lightweight, hydrating facial serum. Despite its thick texture, it glides beautifully onto the skin. Its herbal aroma instantly uplifts my mood and senses 😍.
The mustard-yellow packaging looks genuinely stunning. I also love the textured bottom of the glass jar. It comes with a white plastic stopper, an inner lining that prevents any product spillage.
The brand says this vegan night cream is made from natural ingredients and is free from parabens, sulphates, and mineral oil. Though the key agents are listed, I couldn’t find the complete ingredient list on either the packaging or the website. The main ingredients are Vitamin C (Fades pigmentation and boosts collagen for firmer skin), Vitamin B3 (Reduces redness and minimises pores), Hyaluronic Acid (Locks in moisture for bouncy, dewy skin), Green Tea Extract (Packed with antioxidants that protect against environmental stress), and Liquorice Root Extract (A natural brightener for an even skin tone).
During my summer trip to Cambridge in late August, I got quite sunburnt (my skin is highly sensitive to sunlight). But soon after returning, the temperature dropped in my city. So it was the perfect time to experiment with this night cream and I just did that!

Upon application, the moisturiser sinks into the skin nicely. The oily shine disappears after a short while, so no worries there. Just a note: your skin might look a bit greasy if you apply it over a nourishing serum or other heavy skincare products. Otherwise, it’s a non-sticky cream that feels lovely on the skin.
As a night moisturiser, this Pure Elements Advance Night Cream does a wonderful job of keeping my skin nourished until morning. For review purposes, I also tried it twice during the hot summer months and my skin didn’t love that heavy feeling. But these days, my skin seems to be enjoying it much more. With or without hydrating serums or face mists, this moisturiser alone keeps my combination-dry skin soft and supple.

Also, girls, I’d highly suggest not using this night cream right before or after your period days. I made that mistake and ended up with breakouts! Some natural products infused with actives can cause a bit of purging, and that’s pretty normal. However, if you have acne-prone skin, it’s best to try it first during your regular skin days. My skin has now adjusted to this cream and, thankfully, no more breakouts.
The Pure Elements radiance advance night cream claims to lighten darker complexions and patchiness. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice any visible difference on my skin. I’m still waiting to see if it can help fade my tanning and pigmentation.
To be honest, I love my medium-dark skin tone, so the lightening part isn’t a priority. I just want my natural, even-toned glow back! I’ll definitely update this review after six months, so stay tuned.
